Last updated: [2 August 2025]

Welcome to Sumex. By accessing or using the Sumex platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

Sumex is a platform operated by a globally distributed team under Sumex Labs.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using Sumex, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable in your jurisdiction to use Sumex. By using the platform, you affirm that you meet these requirements.

3. No Custody

Sumex is non-custodial. We do not store, hold, or manage user assets or private keys. Users maintain full control and responsibility over their wallets and exchange accounts.

4. Risk Disclosure

Trading digital assets is inherently risky. Prices are volatile and markets can move quickly. Leveraged products, in particular, may result in substantial losses. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Your use of trading, investment, or DeFi tools is at your own risk.
  • Sumex does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice.
  • We are not liable for losses incurred through third-party protocols (e.g., CEXes, bridges, DeFi platforms), including but not limited to hacks, exploits, or downtime.

For more information, please refer to our Risk Disclaimer.

5. Third-Party Protocols and Integrations

Sumex aggregates services from decentralized and centralized sources. Any interaction with these third-party protocols or platforms is done at your own discretion and risk. Their own terms, conditions, and risks apply.

Sumex does not endorse, vet, or guarantee the performance or security of any integrated third-party protocol. Listings, integrations, and media mentions are not endorsements or recommendations.

6. User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Safeguarding their private keys, wallet access, and CEX API credentials.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of wallet and account connections.
  • Performing their own due diligence on investment decisions and protocol risk.
  • Maintaining up-to-date security practices and staying informed.

7. Platform Availability

We strive to ensure the platform is available and functioning reliably. However, Sumex may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or due to unforeseen circumstances. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sumex Labs and its contributors, team members, or partners shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of funds, profits, or data;
  • Any damages arising from use or inability to use the platform;
  • Actions taken by third-party protocols;
  • Inaccuracies or delays in data, analytics, or user-provided content.

Use Sumex at your own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology on the platform, unless stated otherwise, are the intellectual property of Sumex Labs or its licensors. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

10. Changes to Terms

Sumex Labs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes, but it remains your responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of Sumex constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
