🟢 #3 Navigating the Unified Dashboard
By now, you’ve logged into SUMEX and connected your first Bundle. That means SUMEX can start doing what it does best: showing you a complete picture of your crypto in one unified dashboard.
Your Portfolio at a Glance
The dashboard is the heart of SUMEX. It brings together all of your wallets and exchange accounts, no matter how many chains or platforms you use. Instead of switching between apps, you see balances, holdings, and activity in one clear view.
Each Bundle you added appears as part of this portfolio. You can drill down into an individual Bundle to see wallet balances, trading positions, or exchange accounts, or zoom out for a big-picture overview of your entire crypto footprint.
What Makes SUMEX Unique
The Unified Dashboard is something you won’t easily find elsewhere. Other platforms usually give you a limited view: either only Web3 wallets or only CEX accounts. And even then, you’re often restricted to just one Bundle for free. Want more? Prepare to pay around $20 per month for each extra slot.
We believe crypto deserves better. SUMEX is designed for convenience, not limitations. You can create multiple Bundles, mix wallets and exchanges as you need, and manage them all without hidden fees.
Sections of the Dashboard
- Total Portfolio Value → at the top you’ll always see the combined value of all Bundles, updated in real time.
- Breakdown by Asset & Chain → charts and lists show which coins you hold, how much, and on which chain or exchange.
- Performance Over Time → track how your portfolio grows (or shrinks) with historical graphs.
- Recent Activity → a timeline of trades, deposits, withdrawals, or staking activity across connected accounts.
- Alerts & Notifications → highlights important changes like big price moves, liquidations, or risk warnings.
Managing Bundles from the Dashboard
Adding new Bundles or adjusting existing ones is just one click away. The left navigation panel provides quick access to the Connection Manager, which you already reviewed in the Tutorial: #2 Adding Bundles.
From there, you can connect more wallets or exchange accounts, rename Bundles, and keep everything organized. SUMEX also helps you stay safe by showing warnings if an API key has too much access (like withdrawal permissions).
Important Note
At this stage of development, the Unified Dashboard tracks trading performance only for trades executed via SUMEX — either through the SUMEX interface or SUMEX API. This ensures accurate reporting and consistent analytics, while we continue expanding tracking capabilities in future updates.
Why It Matters
Crypto often feels scattered — one wallet on Ethereum, another on Stellar, trading accounts on different CEXes. The SUMEX dashboard solves that by giving you one command center. It’s like having Bloomberg Terminal, but chain-agnostic and built for Web3.
With everything in one place, you can make faster decisions, spot opportunities, and manage risk without juggling tabs or logging into multiple apps.
Conclusion
The Unified Dashboard is where SUMEX starts to feel like your true crypto home. Unlike other platforms, it gives you unlimited flexibility with Bundles, combines both Web3 and CEX accounts, and provides a single place to monitor your portfolio.
In the next tutorial, we’ll take the next natural step: exploring the Trade section — from simple swaps to advanced pro-level features.
